It's the season for soup, however, I've done the mushroom, the chili, the stew, the chicken and rice... shoot, even chicken and noodle. I'm ready for an adventure. Mussels! A tomato broth with seafood undertones. Sounds perfect for a cool night with a cider in hand, doesn't it? The recipe today is from Food & Wine's Website, originally from their Quick From Scratch Italian cookbook, with a couple small changes of my own. This fine stew is just about as good as any mussels we've had on the East Coast! Here's to rainy nights and warm hearts.
