The first recipe inspired by our trip to Tulum is based off of a salad we had at Hartwood. This open-aired restaurant has the most amazing menu that changes daily. We ate there 4 out of the 7 nights we stayed. The freshest whole fish is cooked in a wood burning oven and comes out in the cast iron skillet it was baked in. The food was some of the best I've ever had, however, the people who worked there made the place what it is. Straight out of a book, they all acted as lead characters that shaped our experience into ... well, I guess perfect evenings!
